San Vicente is located in a beautiful environment, at the bottom of mountains abundant with wildlife, showing us a excellent example of the typical dry forest of the Guanacaste province.

Included in the surrounding vegetation are trees such as the granacaste, pochote, and mailnche.  Living in these trees are animals such as congos, garrabos (iguanas) and birds characteristic of the area.
